Two dreams: one personal; the other very lucid.

Level of Lucidity (1-10): 7 | Dream Signs: laughing, dancing, playing, romance, | Mood: Amazed
Tonight's first 4-hour segment of sleep included two dreams, both of them very vivid and clear.
The first dream wasn't unpleasant at all, but it was extremely graphic and involved me with two very real people, both of whom I know (or knew) personally and both of whom are (to the best of my knowledge) very much alive. Given all that, it isn't prudent for me to talk about the details of that dream in this public venue, (or anywhere else, for that matter).
The second dream is the one I was having when my evil sinuses woke me. Here I was an active participant, as opposed to being merely an observer. Like the first dream of the night, this was very graphic and detailed, with colors, sounds, tastes, and tactile senses all delightfully involved.
The setting of this dream was in a "dream town" that included elements of two different towns in which I lived when I was younger: Peru, Indiana; and Bloomington, Indiana. I was a younger "me" in this dream, probably a twenty-something, a very energetic, dynamic, charismatic and happy twenty-something.
In the context of spending a very full day (and part of a night) with an attractive and similarly energetic young red-headed woman, I: did a lot of running and dancing; attended a street party; played with happy, small children; met her family; did some drinking with and had some conversation and laughs with her father; and appeared to be involved in a political campaign of some sort.
The conversation with her father and some conversations with the red-headed woman herself were complex in nature; they involved active, conscious decision-making on my part as to what I was going to say.
Yes, there was a strong and smoothly growing romantic element to this second dream. And yes, it was very nice. And lucid.
