My dream was about an ice-cream.
It was poisoned or caused blood poisoning or blood cancer or something like that. We had had one the previous day at the Woodland's hotel. However, my parents kept insisting that we had had it at the Ye Olde Inne, a restaurant of Sheraton's. We were going there to complain the next day. We decided to do so on our way back from the beach. At the lights, was an auto with one of my ex-students. Our car went back, by itself.(These things happen in dreams. It makes you suspect that you are witnessing a dream. Hence, a lucid sign. ) We went on to the Sheraton's. My dad parked the car in the elevator shaft. I thought it dangerous but remembered, in time, that it was a dream. So it didnt matter. My mom and I got down. They had a huge underground parlor only selling ice-creams. They had a sort of softy machine which churned out vanilla flavor by the ton. My mom asked them the price of a softy. She asked them if it was $25. They said no , it was Rs.25. That was cheap. My mother asked them further if it was poisoned. They replied in the negative.
So that was the end of my dream. I first knew I was dreaming because we have dinner at the Woodland's and not at Ye Olde Inne. In fact, there is no such hotel. Therefore, this fact of the hotel was carried over from waking. Secondly, at the signals our car went back on its own. This may happen in dream but never in waking. I became again conscious of it being a dream then. Thirdly, my dad parking the car in the elevator shaft is possible in dream, but not in waking. I again became lucid.
