Fighting as one, Wolf and I.

Level of Lucidity (1-10): 9 | Dream Signs: wolf, healing, swords, growling, | Mood: Tired
I had this dream Sunday night. Starts out very, very weird, but ends really nicely. Actually, I’m only going to give an overview
of the beginning parts.
Basically I find myself in a place where my family used to
have a cabin on a lake, and there are these planes that drop these bombs into
the water causing this hotel I’m in to move because for some reason it’s right
on the water. My family appears and
gathers their things because everyone is leaving. They head for the van, which is for some reason parked out on the
road a few miles from the camping area.
I grab the three most important bags out of the ones left and make to
follow.
Suddenly these sirens go off (like tornado sirens) and
everyone makes for the house on the top of the hill, where the bomb shelter
is. I am completely freaking out
because I can’t find my family. I knew
they went to the van, but I’m really worried they won’t make it to the shelter
in time. Everyone gets into the
building but the first floor area has all these windows, so I suggest we go
into the lower levels where we will actually be safe.
We all get down there and I know at some point I locate my
family. I remember looking up at the
ceiling and seeing stars, but knowing they weren’t real and so I commented on
not being able to see them and how sad it made me.
Suddenly things shift and we’re all trying to vacate the
lowest level (I’d say there were 2-3 levels below the one with windows) because
the water level had risen for some reason.
I yell at everyone to shut up and listen. Someone is singing a song about being left all alone. We head up the stairs and find someone in
the doorway singing. We vacate the
shelter to find a collapsed bridge to the right and a completely toppled city
to the left.
Once again my family and I get separated and I worry, but
they appear shortly after. Everyone is
outside looking at the damage and commenting on it when more sirens go off and
I see a few planes (same that bombed the lake before). This time they are more like the annoying
buzzer that you’d hear in a movie or tv show when someone escapes, say,
prison.
Everyone goes back into the shelter and things fast forward
a bit. More stuff happens, but I’m not gonna get into the details. Let’s just fast forward to the part where we
are trying to move around above ground without being seen by the planes. When we do get spotted, they drop bombs on
us that explode a few seconds after landing on the ground. I begin to use mind powers to direct the
bombs elsewhere so no one gets hurt.
When that stops working, however, I throw up a shield over
each individual person to keep them safe.
It’s very draining and when we make it to a safe area I collapse. I then give a speech about what I plan on
doing for them, but how I need to borrow their power. If I do it without permission, it’s painful for them.
Now I’m gonna fast forward to a point where I decide I have
to do something. I know I’m the only
one who can safely go up against these guys.
Somewhere around this time I take off the tee I’m wearing to reveal a
corset. I also will myself into a pair
of black boots worn over black pants with these arm bracers on. (Basically my fighting gear) I step out into the open and reach over my
shoulders for the knives/swords that are there. They are very much like Legolas’s fighting knives from LotR, but
longer so they are more like swords.
Whenever these appear in my dreams, they are incredibly
solid in my hands. Sometimes I’ll get
things that are there but I can’t really see them or feel them, but these never
seem to fail me.
I walk without fear into the open, knowing that they can’t
attack me for some reason.
Things shift a bit and I’m in front of these three people
who are on the bad side. I know they
are thinking of attacking me, so I pull a throwing knife from my arm bracer and
throw it at the first person, killing them.
I did that with the other two as well, then brought the knives back with
my mind and put them away.
Images shift once more and I’m in front of this counter the
bad guy and some of his men are sitting behind. I pull myself up on the counter and begin taunting the main
guy. I have no fear. At one point, I spin around and simply glare
at a man who was trying to sneak up on me.
I simply say ‘don’t’ and he leaves.
It was one of those things where he wasn’t there until I
willed him to be there in the dream for the sake of impressing the bad guy.
Scenes change again and now we’re dealing with some kind of
lunar eclipse. The shadow that is
creeping over the moon, however, is the silhouette of a howling wolf. As events go on, I’m able to glance to the
moon to see that the shadow is moving further across the moon. I know that when the shadow fully eclipses
the moon, the wolf will move so it is looking down upon the world with the
moonlight shining out of his/her eyes.
This eclipse had something to do with me. Like, the more the moon was eclipsed, the
more wolf-like I became. When scenes
shifted so I was suddenly fighting with the main bad guy, I went back and forth
from fighting as a human with my swords, and fighting as a she-wolf with claws
and teeth. As a human I know my eyes
were glowing a bright amber and I often growled.
At times it was both myself and the she-wolf fighting, yet
at the same time, I was the she-wolf.
I remember feeling such incredible power because I was
invincible. The closer that eclipse
came to being full, the more power I had and the more dangerous I was. I believe the bad guy knew something about
the eclipse and what would happen if it finished, but he was unable to do
anything about it.
I don’t even remember how the fight ended because things
shifted again and I was healing people, so we must have won.
It was a pretty fun dream all in all. I especially loved the part where I fought
as wolf and woman. Although waking up tired as if I had been doing a bunch of fighting sucked a bit.
