Level of Lucidity (1-10): 8 | Dream Signs: remembering, | Mood: Anxious
My dream was extremely vivid. It went thus. It was twenty years since our school leaving exams. So we had to take it all over again. I wrote it when I was 17. I am now 37. So the exams had to be rewritten to see how much I recollected of science, maths now. There were my brother's books for physics and biology. But I didnt know what to do about chemistry. I remembered that I had read a very slim volume for chemistry but the syllabus was unique. I remembered it contained a chapter on alcohols and aldehydes. So I was worried. I went off to search for a book. I landed up at a bookshop. The owner was very freindly. The authorities were very particular that we should write the exams again and the one we were now writing should replace the earlier one. They had arranged that the rest of the day Cadbury's should feed us chocolates.
I knew it was a lucid dream because of certain signs. The dream was one of learning. It was one of light. Secondly, I remembered that my chemistry book had been very thin though the curriculum was up to date. I also remembered that my brother's old books on physics and biology were on the shelf. This was a waking recollection. I also remembered, while dreaming, that it was 20 years since I had written my board exams.
