I had the weirdest dream about an ex-girlfriend last night.

But let me fist say that I am on nicotine patches to help me from smoking (hadn't smoked a cig since last monday). Well these patches give me vivid dreams about people and such. Most of the time they don't make sense, but over the years I've gotten where I can control them when they start doing something I don't want them to. ok so the dream:

I dreamt that her and her husband were trying to have another, but they found out that he couldn't and if he could he had a hereditary genetic disorder that would make the child have a short life. So she asked me if I would give her a child. They didn't have enough money to artificially do it, so we had to do it the "old fashion way". Well we signed these papers saying I would never get custody and such (much like a sperm bank) and I was give $10K to "forget about it", but you said I had the right to come and visit the child when i felt the need.

Well since she is in the travel industry we got this executive room in the richest hotel at a fraction of the cost. You have to imagine that this dream was very detailed in conversation and environment. Well we had sex many times to make sure she got pregnant, then the dream veered off to something else (somethign about my car getting stolen and a guy giving me an RV as a replacement). I coraled it back to her getting ready to give birth, but her husband was upset (He was a military guy now in the dream) and wanted to fight me. He threw a few punches and I then took over my dream and realized I could do anything. So I showed my strength and beat up some of his guards coming towards me. I then realized also I could save her and the baby.

I woke up and actually said" I need to get back to sleep so I can save the baby." My wife said "Who?" and I went back to sleep.

I remember placing my hands over her body and belly and seeing a blue glow come from her and my hands. Then I woke up.

I figured I would tell you all b/c it was so vivid I actually thought it was real. Now I know I've told her (my ex) about dreams in the past, but this one was happier than the others. What's funny is I usually see or hear a crow or raven (actually there or a picture of one etc.) in my dreams when they are this detailed, I received my native name Painted Crow from a Sioux medicine woman b/c of the crow being in my dream.

Any ideas on why this dream is sticking so close to my mind?
