Level of Lucidity (1-10): 4 | Dream Signs: Violence, Gore, Lack of Feeling, Unaccountable Time, | Mood: Complascent

Last night, (or rather afternoon, as I work nights and sleep during the day) I had a dream where my wife and I were in a building. and, in my dream, I knew it to be Wal-Mart. There was quite a crowd of people off to our left, as we were shopping, and, suddenly, a fight broke out. As I turned around, I saw a woman being shoved to the ground, on her stomach. Just in front of her, another woman grabbed a solid object ( I could not make out what it was, but it looked like a chair) and struck the woman, laying on the ground, in the head. Immediately, blood began to spew out of her head. My wife tried to run to this womans' aide but I held her back saying, "We cannot go in there right now because we may very well be hurt, ourselves!"  Despite my heeding, she broke free of my hold and ran to this bleeding woman, in the middle of this all-out brawl, in the middle of this store. I do not remember thinking, in my dream, if this woman would live or not, but my wife came back, just a minute later, with blood all over her hands and face. My wife had the most horrible look of shock in her eyes and on her face. I remember embracing her for a short time, but it was as if everything suddenly changed. After I embraced my wife, I just appeared in the "Lawn and Garden" section of the store and began shopping for flower pots, as if nothing had just happened.
