Level of Lucidity (1-10): 3 | Dream Signs: yellow, bus, driver, anxious, | Mood: Frightened
This will just be a summary of my initial dreams
after retirement. I had lots of reoccuring dreams of waiting for the
bus, usually at night, in unfamiliar areas. Cluess when the bus would
arrive or where it was really going. I was usually very anxious trying
to get away from some where. Maybe leaving work? I most often had very
nice black, female drivers who were very reassuring, knowing I was
anxious. In reading about this all later...I found out that , in
retirement, the theory is ...that 'someone' else is driving the bus and
we are not always in charge, so we feel, during the transition and
change. Our future is not as concrete as it used to be. And the journey
is sort of cloudy at first. Those dreams sort of felt frantic or
panicky but now that I understand them, somehow I have fewer of them.
