Level of Lucidity (1-10): 4 | Dream Signs: tornado, giant, vacation, police man, | Mood: Amazed

Well, this is the first semi-lucid dream that I can remember. It first started out as a nightmare; one that I couldn't control.

Start-

My family and I were on vacation. As we were touring a countryside town, a F5 tornado (of course) decided to release it's wrath at our location. It would pass the town, stop, then pass the town over and over again. I split up from my family (which wasn't a big deal) and tried to find shelter. Then a "giant" came stomping through the town, smashing buildings and stepping on people. I thought, "Okay. This is silly".

At this point, I began to take control. Everything in the dream "paused" and I began thinking to myself, "Should I wake myself up? Or should I try to change it? I'm tired. I don't want to get up. I'll change it." After that, I stopped the tornado. I wasn't sure if I got rid of the giant though, and found a hiding place with another girl. We hid together until a police man strolled by. He said everything was alright and the giant was gone. Then I was escorted back to my family.
